In this video, Danny Iny explains that the public-facing side of Firepole Marketing (the blog) started around the beginning of 2011, and business has been great. The six-figure business is actually his personal consulting practice which was making six figures before Firepole Marketing became revenue-positive. It took him about 4 years to build it to that stage, and although he was making money from the beginning, it was not nearly that much. Creating a business that is substantial and relaying its value successfully is something that takes time. He suggests that the root of Glynnes problem could be that she is dividing her energy amongst multiple websites. He suggests choosing the blog or website that she cares about the most or sees the most potential in. Focus on that and grow that into a real business. After you have chosen one path to take, be patient and realistic; making a six-figure income usually takes time.
