The necklace, it turns out, had various silver and gold pendants and charms, religious and sentimental, very significant to the young man who wore it, quite aside from its monetary value. What was worse, the young wifes mother had volunteered to safeguard it for her son-in-law while he went swimming, and shed lost track of it. Shed been crying since realizing it was missing. After the find was made, I was treated as a hero. That was nice. 5 minutes of pure adulation is something everyone should experience at least once in their lives. I highly recommend it.
